This high-end pet care facility consists of eight (8) buildings encompassing over 33,000 SF constructed on 5½ acres. The complex includes a main two-story Office & Sales Area, Pet Grooming, and Cat kennels, plus multiple Kennels and Support Buildings for pet boarding, ranging from short-term day camps to long term boarding, to high-end pet suites with amenities including one-on-one play times and flat screen TVs. Exterior enclosed Play yards and a pet wading pool allow for exterior exercise and training.
This was a negotiated Design/Build project where Norman Company contracted with the owner at the onset of project and was able to offer pre-construction services, including A/E selection, project design and feasibility, construction means & methods, cost estimating, scheduling, and value-engineering to ultimately tailor the project scope and cost to meet the owner’s budget and expectations.
