BSA Heart of Virginia Council HQ Renovation

The Boy Scouts of America’s Heart of Virginia Council purchased a 26,290 square foot office building in Henrico County for $2.87 million in December 2020 to relocate its headquarters from 4015 Fitzhugh Avenue, doubling its space.  NCI won the bid to complete a multi-phase, fast-track renovation of the building so the Council could take occupancy in April 2021.  The new location provides space for a retail outlet, training center and scouting corporate headquarters, serving the council’s more than 11,000 members, ranging from five to 20 years of age.  Baskervill is the project’s architect.
